Though slow, the brake system will "gravity bleed". I assume the
clutch line would do the same.

Sometimes the vacuum type bleeder will suck air in between valve and
body threads causing bubbles to show up and lower vacuum.

Please keep us posted on rebuild kit effectiveness.
