Better find another spot besides Devil's Den. They've closed it as of yesterday due to flooding. Check out the FB post from Eric Lind on the subject.

If you are a baseball freak, you might want to stop in Dyersville Iowa and see the "Field of Dreams" area where the movie was filmed. Also Maybe head to Fredericktown MO and visit the St. Francis river area(Hwy 72 West from F-town), Millstream Gardens area. Cool 3 mi.(one way) hike along the river and FS camping at Turkey Creek down by Co. D bridge. Take Hwy 67 S. out of ST. Louis.
