Tom, the kit is almost a plug n' play for vans already equipped with factory power locks, though it comes with brackets and adapters to be installed in a vehicle without as well. For the slider, you'd need an additional set of door contacts, which I think are also available on that site. Alternatively, you could use factory slider contacts as well. The two front actuators are five wire, so that you can lock/unlock all four doors if you use the key or knob (just like factory power locks), and the two others are two wire for powered lock/unlock. The actuators are very well made and I believe are superior to the factory units. I suspect you'd need to supply the wiring for the slider and rear hatch--I suppose large gauge speaker wire could work and be easy to snake around and through everything to make the run. Here are the scanned wiring instructions (you'll probably want to download and then re-size): https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/_HrDjca6mW6o/TY-inAkTr_I/AAAAAAAAAZI/N8mkxzNXagg/s512/Scan_Pic0001.jpg https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/_HrDjca6mW6o/TY-i2K2LhiI/AAAAAAAAAZM/Sp05Lm8U30o/s512/Scan_Pic0002.jpg https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/_HrDjca6mW6o/TY-jEQsXKqI/AAAAAAAAAZY/wddz2uckhYQ/s512/Scan_Pic0003.jpg On Thu, May 5, 2011 at 12:30 PM, Tom Buese <tombuese@comcast.net> wrote: > That kit looks pretty cool, & it appears that even an idiot like myself, > or Mr. Squirrel could install it? > > Would it be usable for the side slider and/or the rear hatch, or just the 2 > front doors?
