In terms of anthropomorphizing our vans, now that I think more..... When I got Jaco, he was flawed. Aesthetically, more so now, but in better mechanical shape. Not unlike his namesakes electric bass: http://www.guitarflashback.com/backissues/guitarplayer/8408gp.JPG which further supports why I named him after Mr. Pastorius. Likely we project ourselves onto our Vanagons. How do they feel about that? They don't. They're chunks of steel-plastic-dirt-other. ;) Neil.
