If you have the original level controller, that indicates a gauge problem. Check by unplugging the sender connector from the pressure tank in the engine room. If you get blinking light and the needle pegs, you have the standard controller for your year, and the blinking light is a gauge artifact.* If you get blinking light and the gauge does not peg, then see Robert Stewart's post. My best guess is you have the newer controller which does not peg the gauge. *There's a 10 uF 16v capacitor inside the gauge that controls how long it blinks. The cap gets leaky... Yrs, d |
