Bear Knife or Bare Knife? You're not referring to my Randal #18 are you? If going 'Davy Crockett' with a bear this old Jarhead would rather go with something like this <http://sogknives.com/store/F01T_tomahawk.html> and it also makes a good camp ax to have in the Westy. BTW, SOG's factory, headquarters and oulet store are less than a mile up the road from my condo, great place to shop but don't buy there, much cheaper with dealers on eBay and such.
