Is yours an 80-83 or a wbx'er ?? Many of those parts for the early stuff is NLA. The boots are sometimes not used on purpose (like me) so water and salt gets washed out and doesn't just stay there corroding. I use a heavy waterproof marine grease on my under shift stuff.. Off to S de M..

I'm having trouble shifting into 1st gear, it only goes in about 1 out of 10 tries. 2nd is slightly better. Before I tackle this or have someone else tackle it, (I don't know where to begin) I noticed that the linkage in the back looks like there should be some rubber boots. I don't see any. There are allot of exposed parts. Can someone point me in the direction of what part numbers I need for those boots, I can't find them at BD.

Thanks, Bryan
