good point about connection to Temp Sensor II Rob .. I have worked on difficult cold staring on a 1.9 wbxr before .. 'a lot' ...and in the end .....I suspected it was poor contact at that sensor all along.

I don't find the sensors 'that bad' very often .. though I do find if I ohm check 6 used ones, they vary significantly in their resistance value for a given temp. I think it's fair to say there are the common aftermarket cheap ones, and OE grade ones that 'might' be better.
