The Redline product that has lost favor is their gear oils. I have used the red CV grease and it was alightly better than the moly grease. I have not heard of anyone having a problem with Redline CV grease. The original VW grease is quite good and another option is a moly grease from Catapillar. For no expense spared Lubrication Engineers probably has the best grease.
