You're thinking of a Matador Scott - that's the one that looks like a Pacer with a gland problem! ;) The Javelin was the predecessor to the AMX and was the car first campaigned in the SCCA Trans Am series by Roger Penske and Mark Donohue before they drank the Chevy Kool-Aid and ran the #6 Camaro...
