What a peculiar coincidence that you should bump this thread just now. I
haven't checked this list for months and months (hello everyone!). But
tonight I check in to search for any messages on the very same subject.
I have exactly the condition you described last year, Edward. The engine
gets warms and starts pissing coolant exactly as you describe. Likewise, I
could not pinpoint the location. I did manage to eliminate the head gasket
as the source. I assumed that it was either cooler or water pump.
So I can look forward to replacing the small hoses at minimum. Does it ever
happen that the body of the cooler springs a leak? If it's waterpump, is it
likely the main gasket or does it leak at the shaft?
