Subject:      What's a good lube for plastic?

The heater cover in my 1984 fights when I try to pull it off. It's the
brown plastic variety which can be pretty brittle. I have to remove it
again when I pull the dash and figure that it would be a good time to
put a little lube of some kind on the sliders to make future removals a
bit less likely to result in busted pieces. What would listmembers
recommend as a lube for this application?
