Really? I thought about doing the same thing years ago to a Chevy van I once owned, but decided it was "too crazy" of an idea! I do, however, have a small 5000 btu window ac unit and shelf that I made to hang off the door of my Vanagon when camping, and it works very well. Only for use when parked, though! Jeff
