Does anyone have any more complete information on the above referenced subject? I ran across a story to the effect that Washington is instituting new fees for vehicular parking and other access to state owned lands, but little detail was available in the article. What specific public lands does it apply to? State parks, wildlife areas, conservation lands? When we visit our daughter and her family in Spokane we make extensive use of state parks around there, and they use them year round. Will there be an annual pass, or must a fee be paid each visit? What about non-vehicular entry such as on foot, bicycle, kayak, or canoe? If anyone knows about this, I'm sure it would be of interest to list members other than myself. mcneely |
