Neil, Yes, your link is to this item INREDA (also available in a 14" version for $15) http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/30180778 IKEA specs are 3W & 2W for the two versions (though I measured lower) There is also another product DIODER which comes in packs of 1 or 4 http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20119418 BTW, if you buy INREDA, don't buy the separate transformer accessory, as the light strip is 12V (you just need to cut the cables...)

Thanks for pointer to INREDA product. Was thinking of this:

http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/bnc/pts/2369559953.html (also has links to small .pdf files with more info)

but power consumption is 7.2 W Max.

Mike. Is this what you're using? http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/30180778

Was thinking of putting an Onstate LED light bar under spice rack. Nice to see a similar/same light that draws less.

Thanks!
