Subject: Z-bed Foam: 2240 Users? (aka 2.2 lb, firmer)

Hi all.

Have other, uh, "bigger boned" people installed this foam and found it comfortable?

Reading Jonces post (thanks Jonce!) it seems 2240 foam is the right foam for me. (this is not a public admission to me being over 220 lbs. <grin> )

A local foam shop was kind enough to interpret my attempt at foam speak. He recommended "2.2 lb, firmer" foam for my weight class. It seems we both understood the "40" meant firmer.

I sleep over a modified engine lid. pic: http://tinyurl.com/3nmtpam Two 1" toppers and Thermarests help, but since bench seat foam feels worn out am thinking new foam, sleeping with head toward front would be better. This also may allow me to ditch the Thermarests or at least 1 topper.

Foam ain't cheap, so want to make sure firmer foam will do the trick.

Neil.
