The centering pins (locaters) are needed to keep the springs in place. Can be quite exiting when they fly out and hit the car behind you. There will be little there to attach a new piece to. Dimensions are critical also or you will end up with all sorts of spring noises. That lower spring damper is important and if keeping the stock spring payattention and make provision for the direction of that lower seat.

I need to have a front right lower ball joint replaced. Is this a pretty simple job? Or should I have the mechanic take care of it?

I'm having new spring perches welded in place, as the centering pins on the rear trailing arms are "missing". Anything worth noting about that? Or anyone running without the centering pin?
