Subject: What Learned Yesterday - luggage rack edition
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8"

As part of being prepared for the imminent zombie apocalypse, I pulled off the luggage rack so I could do a little drilling and mount a Rotopax 3-gallon fuel "pack" up there ( http://www.rotopax.com/3-Gallon-Gasoline.html ).

When it comes time to re-install the luggage rack, here is what I learned:

Don't tighten down the nuts on the four aft bolts that poke through the holes in the luggage rack until you've fiddled with the location of the rack to assure that the two bolt holes on the sides and two on the front line up with the threaded holes in their respective brackets.

But now I have three spare gallons of Stabil-ized fuel under lock and key up there. Zombies have no need for gasoline but I reckon there are a couple guys in my neighborhood that might be tempted.
