Is this for the Syncro?

On my 2wd, it wasn't a totally hard job. There's a link to a great write up in the archives. Paul Guzyk did this?

I had done limited front end work before this and managed to get 'er done. I took the steering knuckles to a mechanic and had him press the lower ball joints out, new ones in. If you don't already have related tools, get 2 different size Pittman arms (archives should specify sizes. I can't recall right now) The smaller will push the tie rod outer ends out, the larger will do the upper ball joints.

Caveat: At a campout, I witnessed Jim Arnott and Jason (gosh what's his last name? Sheesh I should know this!) pounding the you-know-what out of his steering knuckle to get it off the UBJ. Seems these parts can get goot and stuck.
