I don't remember having any problem with doing it, and I did not remove the cabinet. It has been a while. Seems like the old tubing is still in there, not removed, but I got the new in ok. The tubing from the filler to the tank was a little more trouble, and I used more than the length required because I managed to feed it through better that way. For that tubing, I did take the old out.
