Aha! Citric acid. I've already got that in my Diet Coke/Pepsi with lime.

I heard chlorine eats your teeth enamel just as bad, if not worse, than carbonic & citril acids in my favorite beverage. Or so says my dentist who happens to be an assistant dean to at the UCSF School of Dentistry.

As for iodine, you can't have too much of that either. You're already getting it in foods you eat. They are also in iodized salt. If you start drinking the stuff too, you might end up with enlarged thyroid glands as iodine tends to accumulate there.

Choose your poison, I suppose. Mine won't be coming from a Westy faucet. ;-)
