I would NOT do. Before you plug up the leak with one kind of goo or another, locaate exactly where the leak is. If a water pump or head gasket or hose, fix or get them fixed. Goo, whether good goo or not, is only a band-aid, and will leave you scrod on the side of the road in (I guarantee) a place less convenient than where you are now.

Plan as many of life's little disasters as you can.
