An air mattress with a thin backpacking type closed-cell sleeping pad on top is both warm and mooshy. The two take up less space when deflated than any thick topper of open-cell foam, memory or otherwise, which I find to be sweaty on warm nights anyway. -- Rocky J Squirrel
