Good scotch? Something at least 18 years old will definitely get the bad taste out of your mouth.

As for the Westy tank. Did you try a little bleach? Fill the tank, run it through the faucet for a few minutes. Then thoroughly flush the tank and faucet with water. It also helps to let the tank sit full overnight during the flushing process.

I put a Westy interior in my 87. The water tastes pretty bad. I tried a half cup of baking soda, filling it up and letting it sit for a couple of days. After rinsing out still pretty bad.

Any ideas for cleaning out the bad taste?
