Yeah, but muriatic acid is so useful around the workshop. Its 10 bucks for 4 litres around here, lumber supply store, and you can use it to clean and etch things hard :)

Another dangerous but useful acid I have found locally is an aluminium cleaner that has hydrofluoric acid in it. Its a great paint prep for Al.
