Old timer? ;) Here's a short video I made showing the flame on my fridge (youtube) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UpPm7D-HbxQ Midway, notice that flame gets smaller (disappears from view actually) when I turn thermostat down. You will hear a click coincide with flame size change. That's normal. You should be able to see the flame in dark conditions. Neil.
