Anyone around Seattle have a spare dizzy for a 2.1L (or a Hall sender) to
get him and his family on the road for the Holiday?

Subject: [WetWesties] Hall Sender Broken
To: wetwesties@yahoogroups.com
Help....I accidentally broke the hall sensor during a recent cap and rotor
change I was doing on my 87 Westy..2wd ....2.1 WBX....the black plastic
portion of the sender that connects to the body of the distributor is
cracked and now the sender is hanging free.....not a good thing especially
when we have camping reservations in the San Juans for the holiday weekend
:( I now have no spark and am dead in the water....looking for some help
from the great folks in Wetwesty land...do I need to replace the whole hall
sender unit? Is this something a do-it yourselfer like myself can handle or
should I take it to a pro? Any recommendations on this would be
great..both on the sender and a good mechanic in the area......happy camping
Dave in Arlington
