Go with his measurements but not his arithmetic. I forgot to take away a *full* diameter from the outside measure to get the O.C. distance. So that is 3 1/2 x 2 inches, very sorry.

The bolts on mine are tapped right into the plate, so you can't ooch them around to get a fit; they either fit or don't. Bolts used were UNF 1/2"-20 tpi.
