Hi,

yes I have taken U-joint apart on other vans. I didn't feel like it the other day... I really wasn't planning on doing much to van, I just looked at the linkage and then one thing led to another...

One thing is the syncro propshaft skid rails does make accessing some bolts a little more awkward, or maybe it was just me, lying on gravel and not having van raised.

I'm often pleasantly surprised about the condition of most parts of the van. The zinc/cad whatever plating is holding up well. The rubber boots on linkage were in great shape.

Oh and the result of cleaning and lubing that bushing back there always amazes me. The shifting is so much better.
