This was a good thread up to now, had one of the best ever set of
directions for getting your AC on the road again.
Now? Oh wow..
Here is a chart showing the last 10k years of earth temps as taken
from Greenland ice core readings, not much direct Vanagon stuff there
but it is interesting to note that it's often been a lot warmer than
it is now... Not to worry it's usually only 10k years between ice
ages. Now I know earth cycles don't count for much but if they did
I'd get that ac system up and running, it might get warmer before the
winter snows don't melt before the next one arrives and a working AC
will be of value to you down in central America.

I thought R-12 was illegal to make in this country & the rest of the
west, only China and India were allowed all the R-12 they wanted? Has
this changed?
FWIW water vapor is a green house gas but it beats me why anyone
would rather have an ice age than a warmer world, I keep wondering
what their agenda is.
I have shackles with my tow strap so I can hook it to something, my
trailer hitch is attached to the loops in back but there is a place I
can put a shackle on the hitch.
