Thanks for sharing your experience, Miguel. I'll now go back to my original plan of just using the front and rear loops should I get stuck again.

But if life teaches me anything it's that once I have am prepared with items like a Hi-Lift jack, the Hi-Lift Offroad Recovery Kit, some chain, maybe an expensive Pull-Pal,* and some practice using those things, it's that I will never get stuck again.
