Subject: Syncro shifting dilemma
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format=flowed

Greetings all, I have just about finished my main seal replacement project and want to thank everyone who helped me in this quest. The Boston Bob Endplay video was priceless. My present dilemma is the following: I dropped the tranny in my syncro to gain access to the main engine seal. After reinstalling the tranny I can not shift from first gear to any other gear except reverse. During this process I replaced the 4 rubber transmission bushings/mounts in the front of the tranny, I'm suspecting this might be related to my problem. Obviously I had to disconnect the shift rod from the tranny to drop it but did not undue it anywhere else. What say the syncro gurus on the List. Thanks again to all who helped it was invaluable.
