what I would do .. rather than cut off the rare 1.9 wbxr with Auto Trans hoses , thus ruining them, and burning the bridge to getting back to stock arrangement, should one ever wish to do that ... is... Go the hardware store, buy a large bolt with about 3 inches of non-threaded shank on it, to match the ID of the hose, then join the two hoses on that one single plug. This will accomplish the goal with one part, in one step, and not ruin any rare stock hoses, and allow returning to stock cooler if ever desired.
