My 83 westy fridge does not seem to be working. Not sure how useful it would
be even if it was working - given the small size.


I saw on line (Go Westy?) that there is a conversion kit to take the fridge
out and install some shelf space in its place.


Has anyone done this? Should I try? Will it lower the resale value
(snicker)...




By the way, my wife and I did our first camping this weekend in our westy.
What a blast! We went to Lake Winfield Scott in northern GA mountains.


The van did fine going up/down the hills and it was a blast to drive.


Had several gawkers and some people came up to us to tell us how cool it is
(the van, not us).
