Steven, if you describe what problems you are having with your refrigerator, and what you have done to try to get it to work, a goodly number of folks on here (even miraculously myself) might be able to help you to diagnose it and even advise you how to get it going.

I use the refrigerator in my camper (a '91 Volkswagen Vanagon GL Campmobile) regularly. I find it works great, and it suffices for most of what we want to carry cold when camping. Now, if you want to cool several cases of Schlitz, no, it isn't big enough.

BTW, the simplest "it doesn't cool" is often corrected by precooling. I hook it up to the house power several hours before I leave for an expedition, and by the time I switch to 12 V it is cooled down so that frost forms on the interior fins. It then will stay cold on 12 V unless I stop for an extended time, in which case I switch to propane.
