I did find this on a waterboxer engine recently.
I was installing a new engine, and only the outer ones looked tired, of the
four rubber rear mounts..
and I was going to just do those ..
but they stood up noticeably higher than the other two older ones. so I had
to do all four to keep things fitting right and even. So I could imagine
you are 1/4 inch higher there.
