I'm going to fudge and say 'modernizing' Dixie - bringing her up to date. The 16" x 7" wheels with modern 225/55-16 tires transform the road manners, the Audi A4 front discs make every stop more sure, the sound deadening in the doors and underneath make it much less tiring to drive and the 2.5 litre Subaru engine has given Dixie a huge amount of flexibility. Dixie's still very happy to poop along doing 50 MPH using 2200 RPM in fifth and now she's just as happy to bang along at 75 MPH if you're in a hurry. I used to really like the package and the possibilities but now I love my van! ;) On Sat, May 28, 2011 at 5:10 PM, Rocket J Squirrel < camping.elliott@gmail.com> wrote: > Engine upgrade? Floor mats?
