* Stuffing a suby engine in the engine bay and not having to open it except for routine maintenance! * tinting my multivan's windows to enable stealth camping without curtains. * the multivan came with those almost useless fiberglass bumpers and cladding. i had mine painted to match the orly blue body. immediately after painting i realized that i needed to protect the top of the bumpers where i stand on them to access the roof. installed nylon protectors on the top surface of the bumper - protects paint from scratches and gives better traction when bumper is wet and slippery! * swapping out the failure prone stock vw power window switches for universal switches from a hotrod shop. work better and look better.
