The light is from an '80's era MkII Golf/Jetta.  It physically fits into the
stock Vanagon hole, and all you need is to splice in the plug to your
existing wiring.  It then will keep all the interior lights on for a few
extra seconds after you close the door.  It's nice for when you're fumbling
around with the keys and such.  The handle above is from an early '90's
Passat and is screwed into the body so it's perfectly functional.
