By chance have you seen the awning we make?

We did mess around with emt for the awning to the rain gutter but did
not like the head clearance rubbing the top of my dome. This one will
give a full 4-6 inches more height then rain gutter awnings. Consider
it will droop from the gutter out unless anchored really good.

Actually if your not running a westy it might not work for you. You
could install a C-channel and we also make the awning for that as well.
