that's the kind of thing I was alluding to D. Bascialy, at this point, the guy should know that the wiring at T14 varies depending on year .. so that he knows what to expect .. that he may need to do a small mod to get a later instrument cluster to work in his van.

He may have to put a wire in the pin 12 position .. it needs to be grounded if he gets an instrument cluster with a DOPS in it.

about four variations at T14 I believe , amoung all years of vanagons. Figured he could use a heads up on that.
