Subject:      Uh-oh wheel bearing spindle trouble

I went to replace the front rotors on my 86 and found a problem on
the right side.  There is play between the outer bearing seat and the
outer bearing.  The bearing seat has strange marks on it of shiny
metal and dark metal.  I am guessing that means I need a new
spindle?  (aka the steering knuckle)  Will that interchange with the
one on my 85 parts van?
