Just curious about that needle position, John. I have been told that the needle "normally" is dead center on the warning lamp when the engine is running at full warm-up, unless stop and go or similar situation that might warm it a little over. Mine has done so ever since I replaced the a temp sender two years ago (after doing some cooling system fixes first, that did need doing, but the sender was bad).

So, do you consider it "normal" for the needle to ride below the lamp?
