Tony..The dealerships are typically the most expensive place to have work done in my experience...An independent shop should be the better spot...I would say Craig is right at about 3 hrs labor is the norm plus parts. Remember these creatures are getting old and some of the stuff like backing plates just plain wear out...

Hello folks,

I wondered if there is there is a cost of labor scheme that I could look at for potential repairs. For instance, I took the Vanagon to my local dealership for a brake job all around. I need to know what is the estimated amount of hours for a job like this?
