Not saying it's a good solution, but I usually take a flashlight and lay it
on the ground (near my preferred stopping spot) pointing toward my side-view
mirror.  Usually works OK.

Has anyone wired a strip of LEDs to the back up switch?  Seems it could
work.

|back up light is a necessity, well around here it is. During 
|the dark wet winters it almost comes down to backing up by 
|braille. I don't know how owners with limo tint manage.
