That's an accident missile waiting to happen. Yeah, I've done that many times. The alternative holding method for me is just placing in 'tween me legs as I drive. So far, I've destroyed 3 Motorola flip phones, 1 SLVR, 1 BB Bold, I Nokia, 2 iPhone 3G's, and 2 iPhone 4G's. One might start considering the Vanagon is too tall to effectively use method of holding the phone. My answer? I'm going to lower it a big more so the phone has a softer landing on the pavement when I forget where I placed it before getting out of the van. ;-)
