Is this true? Why would an auto manufacturer go to the expense of installing a battery that did nothing? I knew that my van had the battery box, but no battery. I assumed that was because other vans did have a battery, hooked up to do things, like run a refrigerator or lights. Not so, huh? You're right, sounds silly, or more properly put, stupid. I guess you can sell the dumbest things to some people.
