Switch is located on the dash to the left of the steering wheel. Several years ago, I had the dash out, and when reinstalling it, I did not connect any of the AC wiring (I didn't plan on using it any more). Wife has gotten more sensitive to heat, and we tend not to go camping since it's a relatively long hot drive to go anywhere we'd like to camp. I need to reconnect those wires, and Bentley is no help, only showing a non-Westy setup, and not showing the switch at all. What I need to do is remove the switch from the dash, and don't recall how it's held in. Is it just a press fit (unlikely) or is there a clip or possibly a threaded shank and a lock ring? I can get my fingers in back, but can't quite tell what I'm feeling. TIA Karl Wolz |
