What you need are the tall Thule Gutter Mount Risers. I believe the style is 387. As a shameless plug I happen to have a set I can sell. I had them for my Vanagon when it was a hard top then I put the poptop on it and got a normal set. I've been holding on to them ever since. You can email me at kweikelvw@yahoo.com for more info if you are interested. I only have the risers so you will still need to get the cross bars. I think they are 58" bars.

Thanks. Kenny

Hi All,

I'm looking to setup a roof rack for my '89 bluestar.

I went to Thule's site and tried to use their app to find out what setup would work but they claim they don't offer anything for a vanagon.

Is anyone using the Thule base racks (I'm assuming it's a rain gutter setup)

that can provide me with a model number?

Cheers, Harry
