Okay, thought I had the cold start issue solved by cleaning the contacts to the Temp 2 sensor, but the van is being stubborn again.

I just got a replacement sensor from the depot of buses so I'll bang it in and see if it helps.

Question: what if the connector on the cable that connects to the sensor is knackered? (1.9L). It's an unusual-looking locking two-pin unit that I wonder is replaceable by anyone that solders.
